Family History, 2006
Lisa Chandler painted this work as a birthday present for her father-in-law.
"It was such a thrill to receive this very special painting as a 60th birthday present. It is a truly wonderful recreation of the original 1890's photograph of my grandfather and fellow lighthouse keepers in front of the original Farewell Spit lighthouse. The attention to detail is stunning. We have hung this painting in the entrance hallway to our home, where it is a constant source of conversation and admiration."

Kahurangi Lighthouse
with Nikau, 2006
"We really enjoyed how Lisa involved us in the process, including viewing the initial sketches and colour selection. Yet there was still the wonderful surprise of seeing the finished painting. We now have a beautiful art work that is the first thing people notice when they arrive at our place. Everyone loves it."
Jacqui Irwin-Lawless, Nelson
